Dr. Eng. Ayu Purwarianti is a researcher and lecturer at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Indonesia, and serves as a researcher at the Artificial Intelligence Center. She obtained her PhD in Information and Computer Science from Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan.
Her research focuses on artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and machine learning. She is a co-founder of Prosa.ai and has contributed significantly to Indonesian NLP resources through projects such as NusaCrowd, IndoNLU, and the InaNLP toolkit.
She has also worked on applied NLP systems including sentiment analysis, sarcasm detection, and emotion classification, bridging the gap between AI research and real-world Indonesian language applications.
Dr. Jan N. van Rijn is an Associate Professor at the Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science (LIACS), Leiden University, and co-leads the Automated Design of Algorithms (ADA) research group.
His research focuses on artificial intelligence, automated machine learning (AutoML), meta-learning, trustworthy AI, and data science. He is widely known for his work on OpenML, an open science platform for machine learning research.
He has held research positions and collaborations with institutions including the University of Freiburg, Columbia University, University of Waikato, and University of Porto.
Professor Ir. Dr. Chan Chee Seng is a Full Professor at Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, specializing in computer vision and machine learning, with extensive contributions to AI research and publications.
He has led major research initiatives and previously served at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) in Malaysia in strategic national roles.
He is a recipient of multiple national and international recognitions including TRSM (2022) and YSN-ASM (2015), and has secured substantial research funding as Principal Investigator.
Professor Dr. Rob van Nieuwpoort is a professor at Leiden University, affiliated with the Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science (LIACS), and part of the Automated Design of Algorithms (ADA) research group.
